Knowledge

Sharing business knowledge streamlines decision-making, prevents duplication, and ensures critical expertise is always accessible.

Productivity

Sharing knowledge improves productivity by reducing time spent searching for information and enabling teams to work more efficiently together.

Experience

Sharing knowledge gives employees easier access to best practices and expertise, creating a more engaging and supportive work environment.

Compliance

Knowledge sharing helps ensure everyone follows the same standards and processes, reducing risk and supporting regulatory compliance.

Integrated Business Systems

Business Management Systems

The systems that the majority of your staff use, that monitor your processes, capture and manipulate your data and are generally the source of your reporting data. These will include CRM & ERP systems

Control Systems

Systems that are used by a minority of specialist staff. These will include your Accounts, HR and Compliance tools.

Cognitive Intelligence Centre

This is the Business Intelligence centre where data is read, understood and used to produce reports, predictions, even simulation models and where we derive the insights that may influence or even drive decisions and planning. Systems here may include traditional BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, even Excel but now might include a Digital Twin of the Organisation, a Large Language Model to interpret structured and unstructured data and maybe Knowledge Graphs to help identify relationships and patterns

Master Data

This includes all data sources and is regulated by a Master Data Structure that manages the source and use of all data across the business.

Where and how to get started?

Discover

where you are today.

Build a business overview.

Through a series of workshops, map a business overview of your people, processes and systems.

Identify

where the opportunities lie.

Spot the low hanging fruit.

While many people talk about finding the 1%, we feel many organisations still need to identify the 20 or 30% opportunities

Design

how you can be better.

Go deep in one area.

Having identified an opportunity, extract a detailed vertical slice and design the optimum state

Optimise

how to get to the desired state.

Change brings fear.

Manage change by building small steps that deliver value at each stage

Working with Intelidat.

Working with Intelidat means you benefit from deep business and information leadership, rapid delivery of practical solutions, and a proven ability to cut through jargon to deliver measurable business improvements.

Helping you unlock the real value of your data, accelerate transformation, and achieve results in weeks, not months.

Cost effective delivery

We call it “self funding” transformation. By managing change in iterative steps that bring value at each deliverable, we aim to both show the value of the changes and keep your staff engaged.

Change is frightening and disruptive. Empowering staff to engage with and drive continuous improvement, delivers better long term results.

At Intelidat, how do we help?

Digital Brain

We have been helping businesses introduce tools to develop their Cognitive Intelligence facilities since 2018, and our services predate the current excitement around ChatGPT and all the Co-Pilot assisted “technology solutions”.

At the heart of this brain is the need for information, facts and data, allied to the ability to interpret this at speed.

Leadership

Information is the key requirement for the 21st Century

At Intelidat, we provide leadership, mentoring or even just advice to existing teams.

Getting the information you need, starts with experienced information leadership. It takes discipline and experience to deliver the fact based information you will need.

Board Advisory

For many boards, the relationship between “data, technology & information” to “Balance Sheets & Profit & Loss” is not always clear.

Is Data a cost centre, or is it a revenue opportunity?

We help boards cut through the jargon and bring “IT” & “AI”into the business fold where they should be a key part of the delivery of business goals

Productivity

Reducing costs or making your staff more productive.

We have seen the value of building a “Digital Twin of an Organisation” to help identify the opportunities within an existing business to save money or do more.

Yes, there are AI tools that can make a big difference but getting the right combination for your business starts by knowing your business.

Case Study – Recruitment

Issue – the volume of inbound CVs was swamping their candidate onboarding process.

  1. Candidate records were not being created properly
  2. CVs were being stored in diverse locations
  3. 80% of CVs were not being managed correctly

Solution – all CVs are now parsed through a Large Language model which is used to create a new candidate record, & store the CV against that candidate.

  1. 100% of CVs are being handled correctly
  2. All Candidates are being onboarded correctly.

Cognitive Intelligence opportunities include understanding the type of candidates who respond to advertisements and understanding employment histories and salary expectations so as to improve the wording of job adverts.

Timescale

A working prototype was delivered within 2 weeks and was deployed into production within 3 months

Case Study – Utilities

Issue – Identify the root cause behind Customer Service Calls to speed up understanding and response to issues identified.

Data was of variable quality and slow meaning issues repeated and were not being resolved fast enough.

Solution – all the calls were being recorded, so we took the recordings, transcribed them and passed them through a bespoke modelling tool that identified root cause of the issue.

This model was enhanced by the the customer data associated with the inbound call regarding depot, office and supply zone to narrow down root cause to process, system and location.

Cognitive Intelligence opportunities now allow the continuous improvement of customer services and the enhancing of customer experience which is leading to improved customer retention levels.

Timescale

A working prototype was in place within 2 months and and was deployed into production within 12 months.

Case Study – Pharma

Issue – QA were receiving hundreds of new emails and issues everyday. These all needed to be recorded, triaged and then addressed.

  1. The high volume of issues was masking critical issues which needed urgent attention.
  2. The volume caused failure to record all issues in the QA System of record.

Solution – All inbound emails are now routed through an new “bot” which reads every email, creates a database record, triages the issue to send it to the correct team with a priority flag.

  1. 100% of issues are recorded
  2. Issues are now being addressed in order.

Cognitive Opportunities – with the confidence that comes from a trusted database, the QA team are now able to concentrate on the Continuous Improvement of People, Processes and Systems across the business.

Timescale

The prototype solution was in place within 1 month. The model was tested and refined over a period of 1 more month before being deployed into production.

Outline Road Map for Phase 1

Effective leadership is transformational and sets a clear, actionable vision for the future, motivating teams to embrace change.

Leaders must articulate a compelling narrative of why the initiative matters, support innovation, empower cross-functional participants, and create a growth-oriented culture.

The vision should pinpoint what transformation looks like for your business, ensuring alignment between all decision-makers and stakeholders.

A business glossary is an enterprise-wide dictionary of terms, definitions, and concepts central to your processes, products, and services.

It eliminates ambiguity in communication, serves as the basis for master data definitions, and sets the standard for operational language.

This also supports onboarding, compliance, risk management, and enables consistent metadata within all business systems.

It is the contextual layer that brings your AI tools to life

The business model defines how your company creates, delivers, and captures value.

Mapping the “as is” means documenting all current revenue streams, customer segments, key activities, partners, channels, cost structures, and underlying processes.

This baseline enables gap analysis and shows where digital enablement, automation, or new business models will add the most value.

Master Data Structure (MDS) gives an authoritative framework for your key datasets, linking directly to those terms in your business glossary so that all systems use consistent definitions.

This includes standards for entities (customer, product, asset, supplier), relationships between datasets, naming conventions, quality rules, and governance policies.

A strong structure is the backbone for reliable reporting, analytics, and automation.

Not having a MDS is like asking your finance team to do their bit without a Chart of Accounts

Prioritisation uses criteria such as business value, strategic fit, complexity, risk, and resource availability to rank projects or processes.

Sequencing sets the order of delivery—starting with enablers like data integration or glossary completion, then low-risk, high-impact projects, and finally more complex technology or process transformations.

Input from stakeholders and a value vs. complexity matrix supports transparent decision making and momentum.

These foundations ensure clarity, trust, and strategic focus, allowing leaders and teams to move from baseline modelling towards intelligent, scalable change with measurable impact.
